

When her Father dies, Michelle Price must step away from her big city life and return to the small town where she was raised. Michelle must clean up and sell the neglected family cottage she hasn’t set foot in for fifteen years. Sweet memories of summers spent there as a child came to an abrupt end for her after a tragic accident. Daniel, the neighbour’s boy, drowned mysteriously in the lake.
Michelle’s return causes ripples in the quiet lakeside village. Michelle must face the rumours of her involvement in the accident and find the courage make amends with the boy’s elderly mother. Michelle slowly gets reacquainted with Daniel’s younger brother Brian, and her parent-like neighbours Ken and Bea. Old friends are new again. They help Michelle to deal with her past, face her future and a devastating family secret laid dormant for a generation.
